Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Skills for Work platform ("Service") operated by Samuel Hunte & Co. Ltd., Barbados ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@aiskillsforwork.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Free and Paid Tiers

The Service offers a free tier with access to selected courses and a paid Pro tier with full access. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others.
• Copy, redistribute, or resell course content without written permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content in the Community Hub.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All course content, including videos, text, quizzes, and case studies, is owned by the Company or its instructors and is protected by copyright. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial learning.

6. User-Generated Content

By posting content in the Community Hub, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform. You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

7. Badges and Certificates

Skill badges and certificates of completion are awarded based on your performance in quizzes and course completion. They are for personal recognition only and do not constitute professional qualifications.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content will produce specific results in your work.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Barbados. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Barbados.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
